Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of LineWork Audition (“we”, “us”), a service for rehearsing scripts with virtual readers and recording self-tapes, at lineworkaudition.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) and give accurate information. You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account.

Subscription and payment

After the free trial, LineWork Audition is a paid subscription of $5 per month, billed in advance through Stripe and renewing monthly until you cancel. Prices may change with advance notice. See the Refunds & cancellation page.

Your content

You keep ownership of the scripts you upload and the recordings you make. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you (for example generating reader voices and syncing your audio between devices). Only upload scripts you have the right to use for rehearsal. Do not upload anything unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.

Third-party voices and services

Reader voices are produced by third-party providers, and your script text is sent to them to create audio. If you connect your own provider account, you are responsible for its terms and costs.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, share your account, resell access, or use it to harass others or to record people without their consent.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change. Keep your own copy of anything important, including recordings.

Ending your account

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. When an account is closed, its content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will note the date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
