This explains what LineWork Audition (“we”) collects, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, name and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
• Your content: scripts and scenes you add, your casting and settings, and the audio you choose to sync to the cloud. Self-tape recordings are saved on your own device.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status and Stripe customer ID, never your full card number.
• Usage and support: practice activity shown on your dashboard, and messages you send to support.
• Microphone and camera: used in your browser only while you rehearse or record. Speech recognition for cue detection is provided by your browser’s built-in service (which may send audio to your browser vendor, for example Google for Chrome or Apple for Safari), not by us.

How we use it

To run the service, take payment, send account emails (verification, password reset, receipts, support replies), keep the service secure, and improve it. We send marketing email only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only providers that help us run the service: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Cloudflare Turnstile (bot protection), and the voice provider used for your reader (ElevenLabs), which receives the text of lines to turn into audio. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When it is closed we delete your content and account details, except records we must keep by law (such as payment records).

Your choices

You can view and edit your details in the app, delete scenes and cloud audio at any time, and ask us to export or delete your account through Support. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, and we will honour them.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to your account, and third-party keys you save are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We will update this page and its date if our practices change.
